Scope of work
Construction waste from excavation, service connections or demolition is collected straight from site and handed over for recycling. For the client that means one contractor for the groundworks and for the waste they leave behind — and material that goes back into construction instead of to landfill.
- Rubble and construction waste removed from site
- Surplus excavated soil collected
- Concrete, brick and mixed construction and demolition waste
- Waste handed over for recycling, not landfilled
- Handover record for the site waste log
- Follows on from our groundworks and excavation
What we take
Scope, timing and price are confirmed after a site visit.
| Rubble and construction waste | concrete, brick, mixed waste |
|---|---|
| Excavated soil | surplus from groundworks |
| Collection | straight from site |
| Processing | handed over for recycling |
| Record | waste handover confirmation |

How it works
Before collection we agree what the waste is and how much of it there is — that decides the equipment and the number of trips. The waste is loaded on site, taken away and handed over for recycling. You receive a record of that handover, which serves as the basis for the site waste log.
Recycling also makes economic sense: sorted material can be used again as bedding, backfill or sub-base rather than ending up in landfill. It works out most simply when collection is arranged together with the groundworks, because the waste leaves as it arises instead of piling up on site.
